Well folks, me and my buddy who has a Grizzly 660 lined them up today. We were going about 20MPH side by side, then we noded our heads at each other and hit it. We were side by side until about 30MPH, then the 700 EFI pulled away and stated up front until we both toped out and I had more topend on top of everything. Next weekend I will try to get a stop and go race, but the EFI is indeed faster than the Grizz (and it's 120lb more to). The rider also was about 20lb lighter than me, the odds were in his favor and the 700 still won! Both rides were bone stock.

 

I once had a 400 aportsman and went thru mud holes that a 660 grizz couldn't go thru!!!! I had to pull it out. Dobie

 

The EFI is really quick. I can run side by side with my friends EFI with my Rincon, until top end. I hit rev limiter and he just pulls away by about 1 foot and we stay there.

 

Must be a fast Rincon, I know a guy that has one that can't keep with a Sportsman 600, which is slower than the 700, which is slower than a 700 EFI.

 

On his sig it tells the mods he has on his bike, but if I remeber correctly the Rincon was the 3rd fastest in 2003 (in the big bore class). It was behind the Grizz and Kawi 650. The Rincon needs more low end, but it has a good mid range. I used to own a 700 Twin, and there is no way to explan the difference in power, I can't see how this is even the same engine! My buddy with the Grizz raced when I had my old 700 and he beat me the same way I just got done beatin him (a full turn around). I love to be able to say I have the second fastest quad on take off and the fastest on topend(in the big bore world)...lol. Wolverine350R I really like that Scrambler with the 700 EFI stuff on it, looks really cool. Is that EFI jumping were you have the colors interverted? Cool bike!
