First what jetting is he using with his mods. 2nd since you guys are at high altitude, he should run 13-38 gearing and a cdi box (procom cheap or other box) to get back his top end with the short gearing. Next go add some univents, add 12. Don't worry about swiz cheeseing the box. I'll assume he has the stock style kn filter and a slip on pipe. Jet the quad with a 157.5 main jet. Last almost every predator I have seen has a problem with the break dragging. Either take the brakes apart and clean them or spray some wd40 on the disks. Now some people on this board might gripe about my last comment but it works. It makes it a little harder to stop initially but give it a little time and its back to normal. Now if hes taken this advice to the letter and launches the bike in 2nd gear with the right amount of air pressure 3-4 lbs in the rear.( higher in the front say 10 lb's if hes only drag racing and 3-4 for normal riding), he should beat the v force pretty easy. How much does each rider weigh? That could skew things in favor of the lighter rider. Now i've been very specific in my advice because I live a few hours away to the south and have done alot of dyno tuning on my quad. This is exactly what i run on my machine good luck!! keep us posted

Ugh......yeah.... Bad idea. Why not just take the pads off the quad and hit them with some wet/dry 1000 grit sand paper and some break cleaner. Sounds like a much more logical idea to me. I would never spray a Lubricant on my braking system.
