Default plastic scratches

I cannot remember where i saw it but I remember reading something somewhere about a product that would fill in scratches on plastic. My Scrammy has some real bad spots, that have actually turned white rather than the original blue. Does anyone remember reading anything on this and how well does it work. I don't expect a new look, but a little improvement would be nice.

Scratched plastic is a fact of life. You can spend hours using progressively finer abrasives, go riding ,and be back to square one. Wash the machine. Wipe on a quality protectant (may fave is 3M Marine Protectant from Walmart). Let it sit for 10-20 mins, and touche' a new looking quad.

i have heard that you can take a propane torch and actually melt the white fuzzies down,,, it will improve the look, but the deep scratches will have to stay.

i would rather just keep an eye out for good used plastic. you could change to white platics? they hide scratches really well.

just my 2cents
