Default scrambler brakes?????

I have a 04 Scrambler, the rear foot brake barely does anything. I have talked to other people that have the same problem. Is there anyway to make it work as a regular rear brake? Other than the hand brake conversion. Maybe an aftermarket master cylnder? I want to be able to powerslide into the turns. Any help would be apreciated!!

you know wha,i am currently having exact same problem. looking for solutions as well. tried bleeding it,nothing happens. like he said nothing happens, not even noticeable. when going down steep hills it would be nice to only hit the rear brake. so im listening also

If they are bled properly,,,they should work fine.

Sometimes the rear brake fluid (from the pedal) will leak past the seal in the caliper and into the brakeline for the hand brake. (like mine)

If thats the case,,,squeeze both.

I like the idea about disconnecting the hand brake from the rear,,,,,,got me thinking now.

I have the same problem only on a sport, pretty much the same. On mine the caliper for the rear brakes is locked the piston on it does not move I think the seals inside of it are no good debating whether I should rebuild it with the new seals that I already have or just find a used caliper.
