i'm in need of some help getting my compression up on my trailblazer its giving 50-60 recommended is 115,can the ring on the piston be interfering or causing the problem?

i've replaced piston and rings could the rings being out of place or damaged make the compression drop or the tb not start?thanks

 

Well if your compression is under 100 the bike will not start.Double check everything that you did.

 

There are a few things you need to consider. If the piston has more then two rings the opening on the rings need to be opposit of each other also the valve timing needs to be correct one tooth of and your compression is sliding by the valve. make sure the parts you put in are right for the machine if it has been bored out you need the correct piston and rings for the bore. When you replaced your piston did you bore the cylinder and put in a new oversized piston?
