my efi is now idleing b/t 650 and 970 it used to run about 1130.....this happend after last weekend when it seemed to go into a fail safe mode of some sort where i could only run abour 5mph....i turned it off and restarted and it ran fine for a while...then i was going up a hill and it just stalled coasted back down the hill on the flat...pulled the air box looked for water or anything....it was dry...so i restarted and it ran fine......but still idles alot lower then it used too...

is there any way to turn up the idle on the throtle body's or on the fuel rail or anything?......i did check my fuel lines for holes and leaks...found nothing.........could it be a fuel pump issue?? because my buddies efi had 1 mile on it and the fuel pump went out.....could it not be carrying enough pressure?

i hope someone can help?

I did mine and it showed nothing so is this a warrenty issue or did i do something wrong? o another think
my dealer told me not to use the foot brake cuz it drains the fluid out of the resever on the handle bars is
this true?

My 700 EFI idles at 1180 as well. It's only got 4 hours on it, but the idle range hasn't changed.

 

mine still isnt correct....i did everything i can...i thought maybe the air filter..nope it was fine......checked all electrical connections put dilectic grease in em......drained the tank put in new gas (just incase there was some water) with dry gas.....no change.....it idles now any where b/t 450 and 790.........and i can only get it up too about 50 mph.....then it feels like the rev limiter is kickin in or something...so i checked the belt and it looked fine but i threw my new spare on just for s&g's and same issue......i have no idea what the problem is......going to take it back to the dealer and let em see if it could be a fuel pump issue or a computer issue.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] i just want my baby back....ahahha lol

has anyone had any of these issues or symptoms???

but i must say besides this minor issue i love it...i wouldnt trade it for the world......

 

i talked to my dealer today....and he said that the TPS is out of adjustment....and another part i cant rember what it was, but he needs a special tool from POLARIS to adjust it, and its gonna be like week or a week and half, so till then it looks like im outta of a ride,.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

I asked them why they dont have that "special tool" he said mine was the first efi they had that has something wrong with it.....so i dunno.....i just kind think something is fishy because wouldnt you think to sell EFI's youd have to have all the tools work on em.??
