hoolio,a couple of questions.
1; how much was the pipe?
2; how is the fit and finish of the pipe?
3; how loud compared to stock?
4; what other mods do you have?
I'm very interested in this pipe, its the only thing I have left to purchase. So far I've added a K&N, rad valve, rejeted, and a EPI clutch kit.My wifes machine is bone stock and was built one before mine so I've got a decent benchmark to compare too.

1)fit is good
2)Louder than stock by quite a bit,but not unberable. I'll put my stock one back on in October to hunt.
3)$343 dollars with shipping. But I got the one with the spark arresstor- 50-60 more bucks.
4)Only other mods is a K@N filter. I'll get an EPI clutch kit about December.
5)Also they said I wouldn't need to rejet with this pipe. It seems to be pleny rich enough and runs real good!
6)Any other questions?
7)Also I think the 2000 pipes are cheaper!

Owe it pulls good all the way through. Real smooth power. It looks good. It is about 3.5 inches around under the fender. Looks good though.

I don't really have much space to open it all the way up, but where I used to get 48 or 49 in a stretch I will get 52 to 53 easy in the same stretch. I got it to 56 on the longest strait away by the house. It was not out of breath at 56.

hoolio, First of all thanks for all the info! I just ordered the pipe with spark arrestor today, was $293 so you were right they are cheaper! A couple of questions though
1; do you have dynoport's email address?
2; how long did it take to get your pipe? I've got a big ride next weekend new pipe would be great!
3; is the pipe tinny sounding or deeper toned, hope it doesn't sound like chainsaw on steroids!
4; I know you said it was loud but how loud? Like a cheap DG or Cobra pipe or loud like an FMF?
5; whats the advertised hp gain with this pipe?
Once again thanks, this should complete my mods. K&N, EPI clutch kit,Rad valve and Dynoport pipe. That should keep those new 700's at bay!

It sounds tinny on idle, but when you open it up it goes something like this. BBRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPP! Almost like a motorcross bike ,but deeper.

Dynoport@baldcom.net is the address.

I can,t comment on pipes except the supertrap on a 300ex. Sounds way louder than mine. Course he has no discs. I think you'll be pleased over-all ,if your not I didn't mean to stear you the wrong way!

Also, it got to me in 5 days I think, And the gain was suppossed to be 9hp and gobs of torque. I think I'll get an epi clutch kit next. How much were yours?
