how hard is it to get one?

 

In Illinois you don't need a mouse licence . We use traps or bait . Both seem quite effective , I prefer the bait myself , but to each his own method .

I'd just go with the Sportsman why screw up a good hunt unless you went thith the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders now that would be a "party"

 

its not that easy to get one up here... i mean... you usually get 1 or 2 in a lifetime... but there is always that lucky SOB that gets one every 3-4 years.

up here you gotta wait 2 years to get another one... meaning if your picked you cant enter again for 2 years...
