Hey Rick Bubba and I have set up the weekend of Aug 21st to go to St. Joe State park and play for a day. We would sure like to have you come and visit with us for an afternoon. We both offer you any of our atvs to ride if you want.

Pennyless, how often do you get out to Glamis? I'd like to see the alcohol "Bubba" bike in action

Gentlemen ,

I really apprecciatte the invite , very nice to offer of a quad to ride . I really can't say if I can make it there or not at this time , I doubt rather I would be able to go . I am taking my yearly week of at the first part of August and when I get back in from that I pretty well have to run wide open for qite a while to get things back to like they ought to be here at the shop . I don't know at this point what things will be looking like for me on August 21 but I will circle the date and see if I can attend .

I used to go to Flat River (St. Joes ) years and years ago . Last time I went they had so much of it blocked . If it was like it used to be they would let you guys race up the "pea gravel hill" , it was a huge hill similar looking to the sand hills the guys out west race up and down .

I think you guys have primarily drag bikes so I assume you spend most of your time on the sand flats dragging ? I know I do a lot of work for guys in Missouri who drag there on all makes of ATV's , I am sure I would run into a lot of guys I know .

When I used ot go I used to ride my XR 600 and spent most of my time in the trails dodging those bowling ball sized rocks . When I fist started going to St. Joes I used to ride a 360 Yamaha , that kind of dates me doesn't it ? :-)

Rick

PS ---> Thanks for the offer I will see what I can do .

EAB I try to go every other year. It is a long trip but it is well worth it. My wife is starting to get into riding so maybe I can go more.
