ATV magazines are only good for cool pictures and stupid unrealistic articles that we can roll our eyes at.
The predator is a top contender. I've seen them take out YFZ at the track, so that deserves attention. I think of
Polaris released more than just 1 sport quad and got into the sport/race market like Honda and Yamaha things would quickly
change.

Would that make sense? This is just my guess.

Time will tell.

Either of the 450's is seriously $1000 more than a preddy to get it out the door.......

People in the used market will get great deals on our used machines over the next couple years.

Preddy fits me and my riding style better than either 450's too.

The pred is a great quad, I say again. The raptor continues to drop in price and could dip down to pred levels in a year or two. Its not much different performance wise as stock, but it does have more torque, reverse, and a much more abundant and cheaper aftermarket supply.

I will agree that if you get a pred in the low 5's you are getting one heck of a deal.

 

well we'll have to see how underated the magazines treat the new 05 pred, i have a good fealing about the 05 models i dont know why I got a fealin Polaris is gonna make a move on the 450 market.

 

They did make a move into the 450 market with the 440 pred kit.

 

No i'm talkin abotu a stock 450 pred w/reverse lighter and ready to race. the 500's are race ready but there heavy and i wanna see the pred to be ablet to run wiht the yfz mayb even beat it. We'll have to wait till polaris's 50th aniversery i guess.

Yea but thats not there 05 model thats just a quad in celebration of 50 years. There gonna come out with a new pred from wut i heard. The 50th and the earnheart jr model's are being made to clean out the rest of the pred's they made during the year so they can get hte new ones out..

 

I for one was shocked to see polaris step up and build a quad so far advanced from everything else they make. Dont believe any of that crap they write in the mags and enjoy your predators for what they are. One rockin quad.
