My buddy was driving another friends 500 Sportsman last night, and rolled it over. The handle bars seem to be the only thing that is bent, and the controls n them are messed up.
My Q? is: What is the best way to go about getting this fixed before the owner comes back and wants his Quad?
Thanks,
Joe

you have to tell the owner! no doubt about it. It is cruel to mess up a buddies atv and not let him know, what if something else was screwed up and comes apart or causes him some harm in the future? Maybe he has insurance? also, if you are not willing to replace the atv or repair then don't borrow it.

Well, my buddy "the roller" is at work right now. When he gets home his g/f is going to kill him. Then they are having a friend that works on Polaris ATV's (Polaris Certified) look at it to see how much it costs to fix.
And yes, the rest of us will make sure he fesses up to the owner.
Also I just found out that the rear rack is busted along with the headlight.

Rear rack $100 Aprox.
Just tell the Polaris dealership what parts are damaged and order the parts. The damage that you have is very very simple to fix. All you need to know is Lefty-loosy Righty-tighty The only part that is somewaht difficult is replacing the Steering column(You have to remove the fenders and the gas tank)
Good luck
