Highlifter Lift Kits - Anybody have one?
Does anyone out there have a High Lifter lift kit installed on thier Sportsman? I have one on the way for my 700. How hard was the kit to install? Any problems with your quad after installing? I know that the CV joints and boots will wear at a faster rate- but how much faster? Have any of you had CV problems that you attribute to the lift?

I have one on my 02'500.Highlifter is about 10 min from where I live.Know most of them and ride with them too.Anywho,I have 27" 589's on mine and have had cv issues on the front.I put just the spring spacer on mine and left the strut spacer out. It's not the "lift"that breaks things it's the downward angle. If you don't install the strut spacer you still get your lift but you limit how far your tire travels downward at a severe angle.I installed the lift on the rear but could not tell a diff.Took it off and turned the preload on the shocks way up.Only sqats when you gas on it hard, any other time it's up and gives you full ground clearance. OH yeah, the front lift can be a bit tricky. The front springs are under some pressure, easy to get a finger in there, ouch.Don't pull the front a-arm down too far or you will dislodge the Cv joint from the shaft. There are detailed instructions with the kit.
