Default Predator front brakes...

Hi everyone, I have a 2004 Predator and the other day when I was changing my front wheels I noticed that they dont turn very smooth. I feels like the brakes are rubbing. I read something about this a while back but cant find that thread, could someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks

2004TroyLee, You said that your dealer said it is some kind of bushing, did they not know how to fix it? I would think if they are aware of the problem they would be able to fix it, but I guess thats what I get for thinking. If you find a fix let me know, and ill do the same.

My dealer has replaced my whole front brake assembly twice now (calipers, pads, rotors) , they told me that Polaris has not come out with any kind of a fix. They just keep replacing the parts.

I told them about the HPD fix coming out and my dealer said they will pay for me to get he fix. So I'm just waiting on HPD to come out with it.

my front brakes do it too, but a well designed disc brake system should have a little bit of drag to ensure that that the pads and rotors wear evenly so that nothing gets in between and could damage either one and also so that when u squeeze the lever u have immediate brakes, but i think mine might be dragging to much or maybe this is how the engineers wanted it to be i could be right then again i could very well be wrong but thats just my knowledge and oppinion

I agree that there should be a little drag, but my wheels wont even spin around twice. Im thinking that this is slowing these machines down a little bit, but I could be wrong. And how fast will this cause the brakes to be replaced? Just some of my thoughts!

Well there is in fact a problem, way to much drag and my dealer said that themselves.

Polaris is well aware of the problem but I dont know why they haven't got a fix
