Its about time Elka start making something for the scramblers!!!! I heard that Elka was one of the best out there. I know that Works will valve the struts to your specs and re-valve them once for free

Sorry to bring up an old post here, but I e-mailed Elka's Research and Development team. They have no plans to produce a strut for the Polaris ATV's. Too bad, I would have bought a set.

Are the Fox struts like theo shocks where you can go in and play with the valving to get the ride you want?

Yes, the Fox struts are rebuildable and revalvable. When I got mine, it felt like they were valved for a 300 pound MX racer!
I had the valving softened up a lot and the diference was huge!
(I just put Kimpex Pro Gold cartridges on the GF's TB and I really like them - much better than stock and much cheaper than the Fox units).

Depends on what you want to spend.

The Kimpex struts can be had for $125-160 a pair. NOT rebuildable.
The FOX carts run $240-280 a set. Rebuildable / revalvable.
The WORKS are a bit spendy; they run around $540 a pair, and they can be revalved and serviced.

Personally, I think MOST riders would be happy with the Kimpex's; They provide more control than stock without spending big bucks - they're less expensive than the OEM replacements!

I got Fox struts because I got them "free". A racer bud was sellling his "backup" bike and I bought it. Already had them installed, I just had them gone through and revalved more for my weight and riding style.
