Badlands XTR tires on the 2004.5 700EFI
#1
I'm still having problems with these tires holding air. The bead is not sealing and the air leaks out around the bead both on the inside and outside of the rim. I hate to use a sealer if there is another way to stop these leaks???( additioanlly, using a sealer will void any warranty ) Is there a recall on these tires????I wrote to Polaris and they told me to contact my local dealer. I generally take the machine to a dealer as a last resort. Thanks guys...

I bought two EFI's last monday and I have not had any tire problems with my badlands tires yet and I have went through some nasty brush and ran over some trees and stuff. I jumped mine over my neighbors jump he has on his atv track and the tires held up with no leaks or bends. the only problem I have had with mine is the fuel pump quit on me with 11 miles on it. it's in the dealer as we speak.

Carlisle warantees the tires for 2 years. If they are defective they will replace them, go to there web site and go to warranty section.
Sounds like you just need to break them down and re seat them.

I had the SAME problem with my Badlands. The dealer checked them out and found nothing wrong. Suprise, Suprise!!! I was having to air them up every fourth or fifth day. Bought some Mud Lites and problem solved!

how do you like the mudlites, are they on ITP's. did you buy the 26's as a package and where from if it was a good deal. I want to put the 26 or 27's on my 700 EFI but don't know if they'll rub.

Silverbullet, I found a dealer on e-bay. Got a hell of a deal, $200 for all four. Use a search for "atv tires", the dealer is neatherly 5. I bought the 26" and I totally DIG them!!! I hunt on a mudpit of a deer lease and so far have been unstoppable! The bogs that I'd get stuck in (or spun all the way through) are a cakewalk now. I haven't spun these tires yet. I did have to add a couple of washers to the studs to get 'em off the tie-rods, but other than that, no worries!

I wouldn't go any larger than the 26" tires, they have the larger 1" lugs. Rocky mt. has the best package deals (2 on wheels). Polaris requires the large bell design for clearance.
