WOW.....I have to say Polaris has really upgraded their ATV's, I'm impressed.

I read the article on the main page about the new H.O.(High Output) Polaris has done many new changes like 20% more power, New brakes, better rear suspention, and they enclosed the belt so it's completley sealed!!

I BET ALOT OF SP500 OWNERS WILL TRADE THEIRS FOR THIS NEW HIGH OUTPUT ATV.

Yea I just read a review of the new Sportsman H.O. That is really a killer machine! It cost too much and weighs too much but damn, what a review from a magazine that has bashed Polais machines for years.

Here is what I have decided as far as weight goes. I have a 99 AC 500. Its claimed to weigh 654lbs. Ok, its much lighter than a sportsman, but still no paperweight. Well, add in both kimpex bumpers, a winch, and the 1/4 steel front plate for the winch mount and it weighs as much as a stock sportsman. I have never noticed a thing with all that crap on it, so I don't think the weight of a sportsman would bother me at all.

Then again try this. I weigh about 150lbs. myself. Not too heavy. Put me on a sportsman and a guy that weighs 230 on a Rubicon and you come pretty close. Only difference is that the sportsman would cart me around a lot easier than the lighter less powered quad would haul a big guy.

Weight can be percieved as a much larger problem than it actually is. We aren't taking these on the MX circuit.
