My wife told me she thought some thing was wrong with the steering on the 500. I haven't rode it in a couple weeks and I didn't notice anything wrong with it then. So I took it for a ride and she was right, there was a problem. It ended up being the handlebar clamp bolts needed to be tightened down. Like I said in the title, that has been the only thing that has ever been a problem with it. All I can say is way to go Polaris. The 500 was the first Polaris I ever owned and now we have a 400 scrambler also. Maybe I'm lucky or they build a good machine. Well I have never been very lucky. I went ahead changed all the fluids and greased her up. It was about time anyway.
