Well.... I should have known better than to let somebody else ride it.
The Mighty Possum is dead... I have to got to get some pics of it. From what I can see.. it looks to have taken out one A-Arm, the front plastic, front rack, steering post, radiator, radiator guard, bumper, fan, shroud, some frame parts are bent, the front drive chain is knocked off. I'm not sure about the condition of the engine, it was left running after the wreck. It overheated VERY bad.
Now.. what do I do... attempt a 6 month rebuild and HOPE everything is ok when I get it back together.. Anybody need a slightly damaged Scrambler 500?.. Any ideas on some places to get parts for it? BESIDES POLARIS!!!
Only thing that could POSSIBLY make this worse is if they decide its MY fault and try to sue me!!

 

That stupid ****** would be paying for all of it. And the doctor bill that the ball bat gave him. Thats why i only let girls ride mine there afriad of all the power.

The only place to get most of the parts is polaris.I have a 97 polaris scrambler 400 that has been wrecked a few to many times(not by me). I have Replaced almost every part on the front of the quad.It does get very expensive. Hay if you want to sell the quad as is email me and I'll give you a fair price for it.And pay for shiping I need a new project quad.

 

bummer. Sucks when your quad breaks and you dont get to do it yourself. Are you going to part it out?

No, not insured... They have said that they will pay for repairs. Im a skeptic about it... guess i'll just wait to see it for myself. I JUST got that @#$*@&#^$ lower steering post bushing in too... Come to find out, she had the AWD engaged and was trying to do donuts... Dumb BLONDE!!..
You wouldn't want the cam and carb... its the 97 500... NOt the H.O.... Guess I just gotta let it sit for a few days until I cool off about it.

 

Was she doing doughnuts into the Grand Canyon to do that kind of damage.
Did the headlight assembly survive?
