Thank God it is a polaris and you can get parts. Compare prices of your polaris wether an a-arm or a steering shaft and see how they compare price wise to some of the jap bikes. Oh and see how long it will take to get some of those parts. I have really been happy with polaris when I flipped my new sp500 on a 30 foot cliff.

lol hugh

WHAT?!?!?! not the POSSUM!!
Man what happened? Who was it? I wanna know so next time I come out there I dont let them drive MY quad!

I will do some checking for you Robert, a friend of mine is always finding good deals on junk quads, maybe he can help you find one that is sitting with a blown motor or something.
Good luck

Ronnie,
THanks... Any help is GREATLY appreciated... Me and Bobbi talked about it this morning... If we end up having to buy most of the parts thru Polaris.. We're not gonna bother putting it back together. It wouldn't be worth it to dump $1200-$1500 into a bike thats almost 4 years old and NOT the H.O., NOT Concentric Drive, Not Shaft drive front... etc..
The girl that was riding it was my little brothers girlfriend. It could have been worse, about a foot to the right and she would have hit squarely head-on.
Who knows, there might be some good out of it. She might get that new Traxter or maybe another Scrambler....
If it was a foreign bike, I can only IMAGINE the damage.. They do NOT survive wrecks well.. And parts would mean taking out a second mortgage on the house.
Still.. Makes me SICK!!..

mudmachine,
Sorry to hear about your bike. If you do decide to repair it, I can get polaris parts through a dealer friend at a discount. E-mail me a list and I will get a quote for you. I don't know how much I can save you but I will pull any strings I can.
