jackshaft??

Yeah we kep the same ratio that the tranny had.I think it was a 10 at the top and a 26 at the bottom,that way we could run regular sprockets front and rear and not a 70 tooth rear which is what would happen if you used a single shaft setup.

yeah that makes sense. On the top shaft do you think i could get away with weighting the right side of it somehow rather than making than having it stick out there? or would the shaft not be as stable that way?

The shaft in the pic's that i sent you was cut after everything was lined up.

Heavy duty hanger bearings.The motor has over 160hp.

any reccomendations for the kind of bearings i should pick up for mine?

The guy i built the bike for picked up the bearings.You need to make sure they will fit the shaft.
