well something really bad has happeaned this time!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] i was riding and i hear a jingling noise so i rode back home took the lid off and i see the cdi box hanging from where i mounted it on the air intake for the case!! then i remember i put a bolt on the backside to hold it there and somehow the bolt came loose and went down the duct into the case!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] someone tell me if it would go into the cylinder and wreck everything, or is there a way i can remove it without tearing it apart????

OK, if you rode it home then it couldnt be in the motor yet. Where exactly did it go and can you get to it?

 

u no that hole ont he bottom of the case where air comes in to cool it?? well it went into that hole and wen i drove it into the garage it was getting louder.

 

Maybe you can use a magnet thru the duct????

That would mean that it is in the clutch housing,not bad for the motor ,but not good for the clutch if it got up in the clutch some how.

 

Are you talking about the plastic air duct for the clutch? If it is, all you need to do is take the clutch cover off and remove the bolt.

 

no the other plastic air duct that goes into the crankcase
