can you put a pic of your shaved flywheel up?

 

It looks just like the one on HPDs site. Not much left just a hub.

 

did you balance it after you shaved it?

 

I did but it wasn't off by much(1.5oz). I probably could have gotten away with running it without balancing.

 

I might just have to get mine shaved i know a guy that could do it for free.

 

It doesn't take long to do. Make sure he uses coolant. If you get it to hot the glue holding the magnets will melt. Knock your gear ring off and true up to the turned diameter that the ring was on. I used a backing plate so that I could tap the back of the fly wheel against it to make sure it was square with the chuck. True it up to within .0005 and cut away.
