I know that my brother inlaws sp600 will do 67 on the GPS. When we go riding my friends 700 will creep on by the 600 at full throttle. I would say around 72-75.

I have had my EFI for two weeks now and I have had it about 67-70 mph on the speedo, I think the extra weight if the 700EFI is slowing it down some. I am hoping it speeds up as it breaks in. I am also curious to see if any exhaust mods or a K&N filter would help.

The speed limit is only 55mph on the road. Where we live the sheriff department will let you ride on the county roads as long as you act like you have some common sense. I would hate to be blasting down the road acting like a fool and ruin it for everyone else in the county.

It will bury the speedo and top out around 67mph.

On my stock 2004 Sportsman 700 it tops out aroud 63-65. That is on level ground, with no wind and a long runway! However I live around 3000 feet in elevation which might take a little away from it. I travel a lot to Mammoth Lakes, CA and at 8,000 feet in elevation it is tough to get it to 50 mph, even with the carb adjusted for the trip. Have taken it up to 10,500 feet once and the bike was not liking the thin air.
