Default Silent chain in transmission

I jut took the tranny out because it was popping. I found ou t that the silent chain is loose and stretched. My question is has anyone had this problem? what did you replace? just the chain? the gears still look good and i did not run this long with the problem. I took it easy on it till i got home.

Thanks for the help

I have had it a couple of Polaris. When you get the chain out check the shift forks and gears for wear. Most of the time you can get by with just a Chain. You run one loose too long and it will bust your tranny .

Default Silent chain in transmission

Thanks,
When it started popping i parked it. I had to get it home but i did not run it hard i took it nice and easy. the gears look good no visible sign of wear. Im going to replace the chain and the seals.

Any place goood to get these parts? I checked ronnies.com and parts land. but is there a better place?
