Well I cant't resist...Her is my 4 cents worth. The great thing about using az badboyz is you can have a 99 or newer or a 99 and older. he can do the conversions on either style. I only have about 4200 invested in mine including buying the bike and it has the whole package including the race pipe and also converting my nonconcentric brake so it is on the axle instead of the transmission shaft. thats the big advantage when you have a tired 98 and older style 250. It is totally worth investing the money in my opion. If you already have one why not?........And mine just doesn't just beat a 400 it blows it away.

When ever i get my lazy but up and do it. My 4oo looks perty much the same as my sons ( Dunerdogg) nothing too fancy but real fast. I'll try to get some pics here soon......As for the cost of the 250 mods....It really all depends on how much and hoe far you want to go with em....Mine is race but i can trail ride and hit the dunes really hard. I like riding my 250 trailriding mor so than the 400. It is alot more fun . You can expect to spend anywhere from 1500-1800 on a 7mm stroker with the race pipe like the ftr or cpi, clutching, conversion, and whatever else. The 12mm is a different story. It should be done this weekend. I don't have a total yet. But with the 12mm you have to go with the 300 cylinder and that gets bored out to a 350. I picked one up from ebay for about 100.00. The 7mm is a great bike but I was just trying something different. It is really fun to race stock shees and 450 yfzs (stock). My buddy has the stock 450 yfz and when i can talk him into going out to the creek I will let you know how I do.

I am not completely sure on that. You will need to ask the man himself on that one.

how hard is it to install the clutch mods/spring/weights?

Does anyone have any aftermarket items they want to part with please let me know.

Thinking of going with the rcr stage one, but the clutch mod kinda makes me nervous cause I HAVE NEVER worked on a polaris before

clutch mods are fairly easy to install they usually come w/ instructions the only problem u might have is pulling the clutch off. Clutch pullers make it way easyer. Also most 250 pipes run anywhere between $187-280 and they realy wake up the 250

you dont need a clutch puller to change the springs and weights.
