Mud Bugs vs. 589's
#2
I dont know any one that has 589's but I have on my 2000 xpedition 425 cc 5-speed. 26 inch mudbugs
on itp magnum billet aluminum rims. This is a very
light setup. One of the lightest on the market. Remember. The lighter the tire/rim setup the more power will get to each tire. YOu can see a couple of pics of my xped. on lurch's atv central web site. viewers rides. chet lakes xped. pics. It shows the mudbugs and rims. Many times when I am out riding. Lots of people have commented to me about the tire/rim setup. To make a short story short. They love the setup. The biggest problem with the setup was the price. It was not cheap. I dont have that many hobbies, so was willing to buy these. rangerchet

I run the 589's. They will dig in the mud almost as good as the Vampires. The lugs are the same height as the Vampires. Just not as aggressive or as heavy. They work good on hardpack. At high speeds they tend to wander around though.
