No truth to that.Ive had it like that for over a year.All your letting to is breath alittle easyer..

Super Cheap SP 700 Mods

I made the same mod as Bill35. I think it made a real power difference...but it was too loud for me.

I bought a new oem silencer. Would love to sell the modded one. Before I bought the oem I picked one up for a 2002 SP500HO. Was only on that machine for 3 hours....and on mine for 4 hours. Didn't fit quite right, but it was quieter. Would like to sell that one as well.
