carbon fiber wheels

Default carbon fiber wheels

i love the way they look,and i hear they are alot lighter than aluminum wheels..anyone know what they cost or where to get them?

I wouldn't say there a lot lighter then aluminum, but there are much stronger. I had them on my V racing GNCC, and I WILL NOT GO BACK TO ALUMINUM again. These rims can handle some serious abuse, plus they have a one year warrenty. I just bought a set with Irazr tires shipped for $987.

i dont think they are much lighter than aluminum if they are at all the carbon fiber wheels i've seen are beadlocks which adds weight. I dont think they make non beadlock carbon fiber wheels? correct me if im wrong

Nope they dont. But they are still a lot lighter weight and also stronger.

mrzeeedler do you know why that is? imagine how light carbon fiber would be in a standard wheel.
