split brake, from RCR

It was a few years ago so I don't have any part #, but you need a junction box or "T"
4 new fittings, 1 plug to block off the line that you will remove from the stock junction
box and a tube flaring tool. Re-use part of the tubing that went to the rear brake from
the front junction box to make up a new feed line that will run from the rear brake
peddle to the new "T".
This cost a lot less than the split brake line kit but its a little more labor intensive.
You should take the stock junction box off so you can get a match for the fittings you will
need or go to a Polaris dealer and see if they can get the sizes that you need!

Thanks talonhawk! What did you think of the setup? The labor i'm not worried about. How well did it work etc? Glad to hear that i'm not the only one interested in doing this!

While were on the subject, has anyone tried the caliper rebuild kits from epi? Ive removed the front brakes, and the rear just aint cuttin it. Maybe cause I only have the single line coming from the hand valve?
I guess ill put new rubber in the caliper, and "T" the line, using both borts.
Rite now the thing will barely skid the wheels, plenty of "pedal" just no stopeee!

Having fluid go to both sides of the caliper made a difference. I had a little trouble at
first with the caliper not fully releasing from the rotor so you might have to mess with
adjusting your rear brake. It will lock the rear wheels up though!
