If your thinking of doing new shocks worth that much, I would definetly say change the front end to the double a arm setup it makes such a difference. I would definetely look into it. Ask around i think az bad boys might have done it before also some users on here too.

 

Sounds like the works then? They don't have externally adjustable damping, do they?

 

I'm EXTREMELY impressed with my elkas.. If you can get them, you won't be dissapointed.

 

I'm pretty sure Elka doesn't make shocks for the scrammy. I had works struts on my past scrammys, huge improvement, you can't go wrong there, esp. for $240. The rear shock is also a great improvement. They can set the machine up for your style...and say goodbye to bottoming out!!

I think the whole front suspension is what makes the scramblers suspension so bad. I think no matter what kind of struts and springs you use it's not going to handle anywhere near as well as a good dual a-arm setup just imho
