Hey guys......when i get my 700 back....i think i am goin to throw on a set of the ITP mudlites.......
what size does everyone run that have these?
I would like to stay as close to stock as possible, does anyone know what size that would be?
how well do theywork in the mud, and on hard pack?
Any n all info would be greatly appreciated

They work great, ive got 26" Mudlites on mine from the stock 22" and they work awsome. Great all around hook up deep lug tire in almost all condtions. You have 25" stock tires and I would suggest 26" all around, because thats when the deep lug strats.

I to would recomend at least the 26". I have them on my 400 sportsman, and love them. Have the 25" on wife's 330, and the tread isn't very deep at all. The 26" and up have about twice the tread and will last that much longer.

Ok, now I am pissed Why the hell don't the tell that in the tire descriptions???? Or is this something new since last year (I bought my 25s over a year ago)???

I run 25s becasue they are more of an all around tire. I dont go mudding all the time so I didnt see the need to put the strain on the drivetrain

I had a set of 25 inch mudlites on my 400 xploder and they worked really good , but they had the 11/16 tread and I didn"t really like the look of them ,you have to go to the 26 to get the good tread and I like to run the stock size tire as well so I got a set of 25 inch 589"s for my 500 HO and they look bitchin ,I just hope they perform as well as the mudlites did ,I hope to be able to try them out this weekend ,I think that any type of tire would be an improvement compared to the badlands.

I just got my 26" Mudlites on C series wheels not too long ago, I got a good deal from Nichols Cycle out of dirtywheels. They are pretty cool looking. A little wider that the stock wheels and tires, but about 30lbs lighter. Great in the mud, slide on the trails much better than the rawhides, but a little bumpy on hard pack till you get up to about 4 or 5 mph.

my buddy has a set of 26 inch mud lites on his grizzley and they are a very good tire for bigger tires they ride very smooth and are pretty lite as the name implies but my 589's are more aggressive in the mud but are rougher riding and both are 6 ply so you got a stiffer sidewall which means your atv will handle better at higher speeds when you are turning not any body roll due to the sidewalls on the stock tires sidewalls being soft you can't go wrong with any of the mud tires now days there is so many good ones it is about as complex picking out a good mud tire as it is to pick out an atv that suits your needs
