I read they gave it a allright review, and was not blown away. The part that made me mad was the TLD won't be out untill Oct. That won't do me much good considering my last race is Oct 9th. Looks like I will be racing my 04 Pred or if I can get a killer deal on a 450R. If they come out in Oct, I will wait until the spring to get one just before race season starts again. Let us know if I read different.

The trany has nothing to do with how much you shift in the woods...if you read the article a little more closely, you will see that they are talking about the gearing which is the front and rear sprocket....for $35 you can chage the front sprocket for what ever type of ridding you choose...both tranies are the same and improved...I can't wait to ride a new 05 Pred!!!

Dude, Polaris is not going to make two different trannies for what is basicly the same mode bike! The cost of tooling alone would eat up any profit earned from the increase sales of offering two options!!! The gearing is change in the final drive which is the front and rear sprocket...the trannies are both a new ratchet style....not trying to argue but I would hate to see someone not by a TLD Pred because of a problem that is easily resolved with a $35 front sprocket.....if you do not believe me, call a dealer....
