I wouldnt let it bother you. Not everybody wants or can afford a new quad, as long as you like it or have fun on it screw everbody else. The only thing that pisses me off is when somebody thinks their stock quad, whatever it may be, is the baddest bike to ever be on the earth. I dont see anything wrong with Polaris I would love to have a sportsman 700 or 800. One thing you could tell them is "atleast mine is paid for". let them think about that when they are paying 150 month for 5 years. I like all kinds of quads and I try to never dog somebody that is on something that isnt fast or cool looking. That is unless they deserve to get dissed.
Ride and have Fun. That is all that matters.

How fast can a polaris go? I was thinking of getting an older one with some mods and making it my sleeper atv! Especially, for when I just want to put around! I am all in foavor of sleepers!
Scrambler 400? 2 stroke right?
Scrambler 500?
Trailboss? Is that one that can be modded?
Please fill me in

Don't sweat it. I had a guy last weekend tell me Polaris bike were a POS. In the next breath he told me how he had to rebuild his Honda 2 times in the last year. I didn't say a thing, it really wasn't worth it.

most people diss polaris because there quad isnt as fast or smooth ridin or doesnt have the nicer features, and when they talk like that they think there quad is better. just remember why you bought your polaris... for your own reasons, they bought there quad for... umm ... what the hell did they buy that other stuff for anyways haha jk

I had a Scrambler when they first came out and heard the same ****. It wasn't long before the trash talking ceased when they couldn't keep up. I ride a DS650 now, same story.

I hear that kind of bull all the time as well. Some of the guys I used to ride with constantly bashed polaris. They all had jap bikes and made it seem like mine was from another planet. But when we raced and then found out my polaris wasn't as "slow" as they said it was they had a different attitude from then on out. Its funny though, when we ride I'm never the one bein pulled from the mud hole. Gotta love the ground clearence that comes on a polaris. Don't let them get you down, ride what you want. Have fun and be safe. You just have to ignore them after a while or show them what kind of power a polaris 400 can dish out. Thats usually what shuts them up if all else fails.
