selling price on an 01 trailblazer

ok, its an 01, stock, and in ok condition (the frame broke completely in 2 areas and almost broken off in a 3rd, but i think my dad can weld it back together when he gets home). ive owned it for about a year, my friend did for the past 2. hmm....it runs good (before the frame cracking), tops out at maybe 60 or so (have no way of telling, my friend on a 04 predator rips right past me in high 3rd/low 4th gear). the shocks are fairly new (the old ones were almost bottoming out when i jumped), chain is new, i got a new air/fuel filter, new oil... its been flipped a few times in the past but weve easily fixed the handlebars. tires are good. so what do you think is a good selling price, im thinkin about 1900-1600. also, what do you think i should buy after ive sold it? im 15, 5'10, 130lbs, i was thinkin about something in the 350-450 range. ive rode my friends predator often (i bought the TB from him) so i know how to shift.

Back in 2002, my buddy bought a 2001 TrailBlazer 250 that was in immaculate condition. Like new. Near perfect. He paid $2100 for it.
Your expectations seem quite high. Even if you repair the frame, I'd think that you would be lucky to get $1000 for it. It sounds pretty ragged out. You describe it as being in "ok" condition, and flipped a few times.

I agree with the Quadfather. You'd probably get more out if it by parting it out on eBay. It would save the hassle of fixing the frame.
Although I did just notice you're in Alaska. Shipping parts could be a $$ issue if you did the eBay thing. Good luck.
