carrying beer

I made an aluminum grid that fits the cans in snug and it fits snug in the cooler. Haven't broken a can since. I have seen plastic inserts for your cooler at Cabelas I believe. The most important thing is to keep it good and full of Ice. The other alternative I use is the 20 oz plastic bottles (Miller Lite). I've never had one of those break, but then again they are difficult to find.

Use a soft cooler, stuffed with lots of ice and a towel or two. As you take a can out replace with the empty to take up the extra space, this will limit the remaining cans from bouncing around. This method worked on my scrambler, so if you have somthing with IRS it will definatly work. As far as bottles go never even attempted.

i assume you are all just thinking that these ideas would work... and that you have never tried them... because we all know drinking and driving a quad is just as illegal and dangerous and drinking and driving in a car.

Polaris makes a rear cargo bag that I use to hold about 12-15 "soda" cans. Along with tow straps, shackles, bungee cords, flashlight, you name it. The bag is soft and has adjustable compartments and is also great to lean back against when taking a break.

Out at Glamis, the stores sell foam inserts that are already cut to fit in a six-pac cooler and it has 6 removable "soda" can size foam pieces. A buddy of mine got one after getting to Olds hill and having a beer slushy in his cooler, problem solved.
