800 EFI rumor or not?

Well all you Polaris guys, is it or is it not a rumor? Is Polaris really coming out with a 800 EFI? I was looking on their website and it is listed on the site under the sportsman models, but when I asked a local dealer when they were going to get one in, they said that Polaris hasn't even made one. I would trust the website more but it is not just one dealer that has told me that, there were three! I was really looking into it on the net before I got one hell of a deal on my new AC(which I absolutely love) but then my hopes were shot down. But what do you guys think of your 700 EFI's? Any type of problems, I might be interested in buying one more quad for my farm. The Honda isn't much of a worker but the wife loves it so she can kepp it, I won't get rid of my AC but just add another to the collection!

ur dealer needs a slap, that guy should be pushing these babys. he is either playing lame for some reason, or polaris has left him out of the bizz. I dont know how tho. I rode one at the aniversary. SWEEETTTTTTTTTT

you've got to understand when the new model year is in, polaris starts their builds from lower cc to higher cc. meaning they will build the 90cc's first and make their way up to the 800cc. my dealer who I just talked to the other day said he is just now getting his new 05' 400cc in stock. I inquired about the 05' predator 90 and 500 and he said he wouldn't see them till near october. but yes the 800 EFI is the real deal but I'm not sure it would be worth the extra money over a 700 unless your just buying it to say you've got it then I guess it's worth it. I can't see what the extra 100cc would do for you, seems like the extra weight of the quad would bring the performance back down to where you could have saved money on just buying a 700

Its already been written about in one of the mags I think, Its not a true 800 though it is a 760, I cant imagine 60 cc's would make a huge diff, I think the main diff is just going to be the re-styled bodies for 05's and up.
