just ruined my second tire today with a hole in the sidewall. Riding at Sutton Bluff. will not buy another radial as long as i ride in MO and AR. it is not possible to avoid the rocks. Is this why the badlands only lasted .5 years as the oem tire? what tire would you put on a 700?

i had this happen to my tires too ... the fix was have the tire shop place a patch on the cut (sidewall or tred) and then install a tube ... i have the atv tubes and they hold up great!

Get 6 ply Kenda Bear Claws or ITP 589 they both have thick side walls.

I blew 2 badland tires in the same night on rocks with 2 hrs riding time total on my 2.5 500 HO polaris...

 

Does any company make a 25-11/12 besides the rawhides?

 

yes you are right about the oe tires on the efi.they suck! i have 4 other freinds with the efi and we all have maney sidewall plugs in them.we all need to write letters to carlisle and polaris about these tires.probably wont do any thing for us but you never know if enough people write them. well i put high lifter radial outlaws on mine. thanks rich

 

They swiched tires for 2005. Guess they already got enought complaints.

 

3400KMS on my Raw Hides, one plug due to a nail, no complaints here. Will replace them with ITP 589's...

 

i have the badlands on my EFI and they seem to be ok so far but I want to put the mudlites on or maybe another 6ply tire.
