Rubione~
I realize Honda's have the reputation for being the most reliable ATV available. But if you use your machine for it's purpose and perform the simple maintainance, it will last just as long as any Honda! If you walt to beat the hell out of a machine, buy a scrambler or 400ex! They are made for the harded riding. Prime example: The first machine I ever bought/rode was a 1989 Polaris Trailboss 250 4X4. Yes it was chain drive, but all I did was spray it down with a lubricant every now and then. Keep the oil tank full. Grease the grease zerks after any riding in water. This all adds up to about 10 minutes of maintainance once a month. Finally last year, after 10 years and about 6,500 miles, we did some cleaning on the machine. Every single last part of that machine was original and did not need to be replaced! But just for safety's sake, we replaced the o-ring chains and sprockets. If I got 10 years out of that machine and it was still just like new, that has to say something for Polaris. Just my two cents on the topic. Wow, seems like everybody starts slamming on the Honda rider when he comes into the Polaris Forum and tries to prove his machine to be superior! lol!

This is the first time in awhile that I have come to this Forum, and to my AMAZEMENT,Jester is at it again.Him and I are in a good one in the Utility Forum, the Topic that says ''King Quad or Rancher''.He is in there starting arguments to.
NOW,lets get the record straight.
This Jester kid is as full of Shi- as his KQ is underpowered.I owned a KQ and I service my brothers 97 KQ.Jester, you see son, there is no way you pulled a running, fully operated Grizz backwards.Read this,NO WAY.Your 1000 gears mean nothing when refering to pulling a Grizz backwards. The KQ does not develope enough wheel speed to pull a Grizz backwards, its stock tires are the worst of any 4x4 quad around. The belt thing you mention is all hogwash, and the veteran ATVers know it.I suggust you read what Chickenman said about the ATV pulls.Who won?BELTS-BELTS-BELTS.
I hooked up[BACK TO BACK] to my brothers 97 KQ and my 99 Sportsman,I drug it in my back yard like I was dragging a trailer load of wood.My son was screaming for me to stop.
No one in here is buying a word you say.Why do you continue to mislead the KQs ability's?Most of us are aged ATV veterans in here.We have seen alot more in the ATV world than you probably ever will. What,at 15 yrs old,you must have a yr or so ATV experience?I'd like you to copy this post, save it,and when you turn 21,read it,and may I be the first one to tell you of your immaturety and inexperience in the ATV world.Your going to be saying,''Youth and Inexperience''
Man,Them guys were right,
Respectfully,
Bill
