Default polaris predator

hey guys i was wondering about buying a new troy lee predator[2005] and was wondering how the older models have been holding up and if there is any quirks or such that would help me in my desision. i have a ltz-400 right now and it's a little faster than a rapter now but it's getting old and tired and i was looking for something else. i didn't pick either of the 450's because i want reverse. any help would be muchly appreciatedText

I have an 03, and have had no problems with it.....some people have had a few problems(all of which polaris covered) but they pretty much worked them out in 04, and the 04 problems(if any) were worked out in 05.......the 05 pred should make you very happy, they are powerful, and have a very nice suspension/steering assembly. They are also virtually indestructable, and built with very heavy, quality materials. Do a search, or just go through the pages, and you will find more info on people wondering about the pred.....

03 Predator no problems as of yet.

Speeedy, what kind of jetting are you running. I have the Rath airfilter witch gets rid of the air box with a MBRP slip on. I was thinking around 175 main, 50 pilot?

I just purchased my 04 Predator last month. I luv it! The handling and the steering is awesome. And its got plenty of power to get me around,(6'3'' 300lbs). I almost went with the 05 for reverse, but at $1,000 savings I can get off my quad and back it up my self. I did a lot of research before I purchase, and it paid off. Plus, the low maintence on this quad can't be beat!
