Removing drive clutch?
#1
Do you need a special tool to remove the drive clucth?
I bought a '95 scrambler that had a broken cylinder and it was removed.
I want to pull the whole engine and put it out of the weather until it gets rebuilt.
I noticed there is water in the crankcase!!!
Thanks.

Yes. You need a primary clutch puller. HPD sells them. Water in the crankcase means your counter balance seals are shot

I think the water is there because it rained alot and the lower end is sitting there with not much to cover it other then the body.

polaris clutch puller, your local polaris dealer must have one in stock.
remove drive clutch bolt then screw in the puller til the clutch
come out, depending on shaft it can be hard to throw it out but
it will come.

You can get water in your crank case if you don't drain the water from the radiator by disconnecting the hose top and bottom before you pull the head and cylinder. If this is a 2 stoke.....I just made my own puller by using a 3/8 rod and a bolt
