Default Re-build 90 trailboss 250 2-stroke. 2x4

Few questions....How hard is it to rebuild this 250? I have the manuel on it. Also I want to bypass the oil pump, as this seems to be the reason I've got a blown motor, what gas to oil ratio should I use? All suggestions greatly appreciated!

bore, get a wiseco, get a single throttle cable, get a oil injector block off, mix at 40/1

ok Where do I get an oil injection block off and what is a single throttle cable? Do I need to just buy the wiseco top end re-build? Man I'am dum... This is my first rebuild! Think I can do-it? Also I think it has been bored before, just waiting until I get it tore apart to tell. One las question.. Can I leave the motor in the frame to do this?

I cant get any info from you guys in the Polaris forum! If I asked about a different quad in a different forum, I would get a ton of info.... Thanks a friggin lot!

Your 250 blazer is a pretty straight forward rebuild . There are very few moving parts in that machine . If you have the crank rebuilt , install new main bearings , and get a fresh bore and piston kit you have a brand new engine .

The oil block off and cable costs about $41 and is easy to find .

This is the Polaris forum, on the weekends we're out riding, not sitting at home. Be patient and you'll get (more) answers. If your going to do a complete tear down, yes it will be easier with it out of the frame. Rick can probrably get the parts you need and the advice you'll want, give him a call.

Go to www.partsland.com. Run a 40:1 mix when broke in. I'd run a 32:1 mix during the break-in period.
