Default found a 400 scrammy

I found a 2000 400 Scrambler with ITP wheels,2 little tears in the seat,DG bumper(bad point)it has a DG pipe(not sure on the clutch situation but pipe can change).Decent tires, sticker arent in great shape, but motor sounds good.He is asking $1900.You guys think that is fair price? This is for my wife so it dont have to run tops but be dependable for about a once a month cruise.Input please !

I would say that is good.

I went to a place the other day that had a 97 Sport for sale, I was hoping it was at a good price...

$3700!! I laughed at the guy.

That guy must have had a gold plated frame That was worth in the $1200-$1700 range if you ask me.

Hell yea, Id offer him 15 or 16 and if he wudnt take it, then I think 1900 is a fair price. If the front diff and stuff is ship shape.
Count them hundreds off in his hand- "14,15,16" Thats worked wonders on me when Im sellin stuff in the past.

My buddy just sold his totally stock '99 sport 400 for $2100.00. I would say 1900 is a steal especially if it is a 4x4.

I forgot to say it is a 2x4 and $1900 is his bottom $.I already have a 4x4 and the wife says it is too heavy to steer for her.

As long as it will fire up easy I wont bother with a comp check.Plan on a topend this winter anyway to be sure it has a GOOD piston.I am more woried about the counterbalance.Topend is less than $200 new counterbalance close to $400.
