That stinks. How are the valves? Are they seated right? Maybe some carbon build-up on the seating surface. Weak or broken valve springs. So many different things can give a poor compression. Spark plug tight. I hope it's that simple. Keep your head high, it's most likly something simple.

Do you have the ability to inject compressed air through the spark plug hole? Then see where its leaking out.

Does it hold it or will it lose the 90lbs too?

Its the decompression "thingy" Hozed. I read about that somewhere before. I'm uncertain how you by pass it, but I believe thats your issue. All I can say is ask around maybe even a dealership if you know someone in the maintnance department and see how you get around it.

Hozed ,

I took a YFZ 450 apart and found 2 broken valve springs . I haven't heard of this except on one I saw at the shop . Might be worth a look .

i just got off the phone with my dealer... i am good friends with them... and they been trying to help me out... they also think my last option is the decompression thingy... i dunno if i can by pass it though... it might start hard then.

rick... dont scare me!!!! all the valves seems ok when i checked them for clearance... a broken spring would mess that up i think... but ill take a look... thanks.
