6199 is msrp isn't it? At least when I look at Polaris's website its whats listed as suggested sale price.
I was curious to know what others were getting deal wise in an out the door price.

I hate dealing with dealers - as I always feel like a shower when I'm done with them
Looks like the best offer I am getting for the two ATV's I want is
7099 (out the door tax title license) for a 04 SP700 EFI
and $5838 for a 04 Predator (again out the door).

RAJ thanks for the tip. I'll keep checking around.
My offer so far on what I'd like to pay to several dealers (which I haven't heard back from yet) is
2004 SP700 - for $6399 (out the door - tax title license)
2005 Predator (I like the idea of having reverse ) - for $5399 (out the door - tax title license)
Since I am purchasing two I thought I'd be able to wiggle a better deal from them...or?
Think thats a fair price? Heck they make $$ on the financing, holdbacks, and markups still. I'm not sure but would think most atv's have at least a 1k profit margin on them

Also does out the door usually include setup fees? Or do dealers try and put that in there? Its been quite a while since I've bargained for a atv.
What are typical setup fees they charge? Do people pay or haggle them down? I already cross out the "documentation" fees they normally try and stick in there. $50 to file my paperwork? cmon...

As far as set up fees I have no idea.....If you can get yhe 05 Pred that cheap.......you are stealing it! Just remember that the TLD is only $200.00 more then the std. Pred. It is worth the extra cash!!!! But like I said check around. They will all have different prices. It just depends how bad they want to sell them. Good luck on geeting one.....and let us know how it goes.

Dealers around here are selling 04 preds for $5000, TLD preds for $5200 and the dale earnhardt edition for $5400. 05's are $6000 for the basic pred. I am going to wait until next fall to buy a new predator, the prices should be pretty low by then.
