I was just looking at my sons ATV yesterday(2004 Predator 50) and noticed that the 2 front brake cables, that go to the drums are rubbing on the front rims. One is almost wore through and the other is wore pretty good. So I called the dealer and they said to bring it in. I am going to ask that the lines be replaced with new ones, and have them paint the rims where the paint is wore off. I will let you know how this turns out. Just wondered if this was something new or if other people have had this problem.

 

First I have heard of it......you might also try posting this in the (www.rathracing) forums.....under 50 and 90's .......that way some kid doesn't get hurt.....
