Where is the cheapest place on the web to buy a winch for my '04.5 700?
Also, which would be the best one to buy?

I have a superwinch 300, and it has amazing pulling power moving stuff, but i havent gotten stuck enough to use it yet, so i cant vouge for its true usability. Also have only had it for a few months, so i cant say anything about durability either [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. I guess the only reason im posting is that the superwinches are inexpensive, but still seem to be made of high quality materials.

 

I would go with the Warn 3.0ci, since you are putting on the 700. I have the 3.0 on my '05 700 EFI, awesome winch. It also comes with the remote. You will then have to get the mount bracket to fit it in the upper housing for the winch. You can get them for a fair price on ebay from vendors such as this:

there are usually vendors on there alittle cheaper, but thats a fair price. You can also find the mount on ebay, usually.

 

others favor cabelas. in my case, i had a discount coupon from polaris and my dealer honored the price. i got the polaris warn 2.5 kit and it went on very easily. it cost me 384us.

 

Thanks for the info. There is a Warn 3.0 for sale on ebay for $350 buy it now price. That seems like a pretty good deal from what I have seen at other websites.

they have the warn 2.5ci winches for $308 with free delivery or you can get it in a package which includes the winch mount for your specific atv and roller fairlead for $349. great prices.

 

I goe the 2.5c winch on my 500 it does the job got it for 300 canadian from my dealer.
I was very happy with the price

I just ordered a winch w/mounting kit from them. I got the Warn 2.5. It was a good price $349 to my door.

 

I have a 2.5ci on my 400 and a 3.0ci on my 500HO. The 3.0ci is a better winch. The spool is centered and I understand it much more waterproof. Watch ebaY....you won't find it cheaper. I paid $335 USD for my 3.0ci with something like $12 freight. Just keep watching...you'll get one.

 

no problem, don't mention it. thats what we are all here for right. I was gonna order my winch and plow from them which would have been $679 to my door but I would have to install it. I got the warn winch and glacier plow from my polaris dealer installed for $725 including tax. so I figured for the extra $45 I would get it from there and not have to dick around with installing anything.
