AHHHHHH what should i do??? There where quit a bit of metal shavings on the bottom of the drain plug. What does that mean? Can i go ahead and put new in and forget about it or what? I posted a topic about hearing a weird noise near my chain and i guess i found out what it was!! Any replies will be appreciated.

If you didn't just find a ton of them, then I wouldn't worry. This is normal. I've had some at all three oil changes in 1400 miles. I had a lot in the front differential though. I just wiped them off and refilled it. If it does this at like 2000 miles, then I might worry a little, but a newer machine is going to have them.

If its the older chain drive transmission, I wouldnt worry about it.... Unless you do something drastic, the chain will last a LONG time. Some small metallic shavings is expected. Hence, the magnetic drainplug.
Main thing to remember is if you get water in it, CHANGE it immediately..
Oh, Just an FYI.. Usually, when you trash the chain, when you really bind up the bike pulling or full throttle from a dead stop, you'll hear a "popping" sound and the bike will jerk slightly. Sometimes, it will show up in reverse first.
Just run it until you start having problems....
