My carb is leaking gas out of the overflow when it is running,,,and not only that if I leave it sit overnight~when I go to start it the next day, some gas will leak out inbetween my header pipe and midpipe...so gas is somehow leaking down into my exhaust pipes. I figure I need a new needle and seat to fix my prob...I was just wanting to make sure I order the right part. Part # 37~valve,needle 1.5 Is that the part I need? I hate looking at those diagrams but it looks like thats the part..I just wanted to make sure first.

 

You got it right, I would take the carb apart first to check for foreign material in the seat/needle and check the float and float level.

 

from what i can tell in the picture it is the needle and seat. based on past problems i'd say it's a good place to start.
