I use Mobil 1 synthetic 0w40 in both my 700 EFI's. it's the only thing I run synthetic oil in, I always use mobil oils in all my stuff. cheaper than the pure polaris oil and if you think about it, it's not like polaris makes the oil they slap there name on someone elses product. and for oil filters I found if you cross reference the polaris filter to a wix filter and then cross that to like a fram or stp filter you can pick up a filter for about $3 instead of $14.

First time I ever heard anything bad about Royal Purple. I use Amsoil in everything I own, chainsaws, quads, trucks, snowmobiles, even the weedwacker. It's top notch synthetic oil!

I know of 4 people personally that have had the same problems with Royal Purple. They know about the problem, TRUST me, I have spent my hours with the local rep.
I'm not telling anyone not to buy the oil, just remeber everything for sale is for a profit. You didn't hear any bad talk about "Slick 50" when it first came out either, now you can't find it nearly as easy anymore.

i've stayed with the Polaris oils over the years. never had a problem yet.

my oldest ATV is a '95 Magnum425(first 4 stroke to be offered in a Polaris ATV). runs like a champ!
