If you could look up how to get the bearings off the transmition input shaft. They are pressed on and I can't get them off. Any help advise would be great.

It is a Polaris Sport. But basically most all of the Polaris transmitions have the same basic design.

According to the service manual for a 1996-2000 sportsman 500; to remove the bearings from the shaft
"using a brass hammer or a press, drive the shaft bearing, retaining ring, and seal out of the housing from rear to front".
Was that what you meant?

2000 Trail Boss manual says for the input shaft use a "battery clamp puller" to remove the bearing from the sliding gear shaft. I would think a small gear puller would do the same thing.
